Spider-Man: No Way Home set to hit the theatres a day in advance - Prune
The much-awaited Marvel superhero movie of this year, Spider-Man: No Way Home, is ready to cast its spell or rather, web on Thursday, December 16. Ever since the teaser came out, our excitement has known no bounds. And it looks like Christmas came early for us as the film is releasing a day in advance in Indian cinemas, which is all the better for us.
While Sony Pictures Entertainment India did not reveal the reason behind this move after announcing the new release date on its social media handles, we are not complaining! It only reduces our waiting time for us Spider-Man fans in the country. The film will release in four languages, including Hindi, English, Telugu, and Tamil.
About Spider-Man: No Way Home
Our favourite Spider-Man is back, with Tom Holland taking over the role for the second time. Once the film begins its much-anticipated run on December 16, it will showcase the superhero back in action, as Spider-Man, a.k.a Peter Parker, gears up to battle with the old villains from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, such as Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe). Initially, we hear that the makers wanted to keep the villains a secret, but the plan changed later as there was no way of hiding them that well.
Besides Tom Holland, the Spider-Man: No Way Home will star Zendaya again. She plays the love interest of Peter Parker as Michelle Jones (MJ) for the second time in a row, and we can’t wait to see the charming duo together share the screen. The film also sees other actors reprising their roles, such as May Parker (Marisa Tomei), Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), Flash Thompson (Tony Revolori), Betty Brant (Angourie Rice), and Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau).
Spider-Man: No Way Home trailers
The promos and trailers have given us a look into how Peter Parker (Tom Holland) asks Doctor Strange for help to erase the public’s memory of his superhero identity. Earlier, his identity had come out in the open by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). And Doctor Strange, while trying to help Parker, underestimates the impact his spell has and incidentally opens up the multiverse from which the villains return looking for Spider-Man.
