How to verify mobile numbers linked with your Aadhar card: Prune
Do you want to find out which of your mobile numbers is linked to your Aadhar card? Now you can do so with ease! All you need to do is visit the portal launched by the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) and can verify your phone numbers registered against your Aadhar card quickly. The portal was launched recently by the DoT. It is called Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP).
This newly launched portal is useful as it will help you manage your phone numbers and remove any unnecessary connections against your Aadhar if need be. It will also help you deal with banking transactions. As of now, the portal is available in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Steps to verify your mobile numbers registered against Aadhar card
- Visit the portal named Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection and add your contact number
- Then, request OTP by clicking on the tab. Enter the OTP once you receive it for verification
- You will get a list of mobile numbers registered against Aadhar card
- You can manage these numbers by banning or blocking them if you no longer need them
DoT guidelines
- You can register up to 9 mobile numbers for each subscriber under the same name
- If your numbers exceed the limit for your commercial transactions under the same name, it will be considered as a bulk connection
