Does the SIM support 5G? Which operator is best for 5G??
5G support depends on two things: your operator and your phone model. Even if your plan is 5G-enabled, your device must support India’s 5G bands and your location must have 5G coverage.

Jio: Highest 5G coverage (True 5G SA)
Airtel: Strong 5G in metros (5G NSA)
Vi (Vodafone Idea): Limited 5G rollout
BSNL: No 5G available yet
Device requirement
Your phone must support Indian 5G bands such as:
n28
n78
n258 (mmWave, where supported)
Tip: Even with a 5G SIM, your phone may switch to 4G if coverage is weak or if your device doesn’t support the local 5G band.
