However, if your transit involves leaving the airport, passing through immigration, or an overnight stay that necessitates entry into Cameroon, then you will need to obtain a transit visa or a regular entry visa beforehand. If you're just passing through, staying in the international zone, it's usually no problem, but if you step out, you'll need a visa, right proper.

For British Virgin Islands citizens, the primary travel authorization required for entry into Cameroon is the visa itself. With the introduction of the eVisa system, the online application process serves as the pre-travel authorization.

There isn't a separate, distinct travel authorization system (like ESTA for the US or ETIAS for Europe) beyond the eVisa for Cameroon. The eVisa system pretty much covers your travel authorization, giving you good vibes for your trip once approved.
