Prices cut down for Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold! Here's what you need to know - Prune
Gamers, there's a piece of exciting news for you! Microsoft India has decided to reduce subscription prices of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold from next month onwards. The same goes for PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate as well. So whether you're a PC or console player, you can now enjoy cheaper plans starting from just Rs 349 a month.
The plans include a library of high-quality games, multiplayer support, exclusive offers, and discounts within the membership timeline. This move from the company comes in effect to attract new gamers and keep its existing audience interested in the gaming subscription services.
Here's the official statement from Microsoft India: "We regularly evaluate the price of Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold at a local level to best serve customers in each country. These price adjustments were informed and based on local market conditions in each country. This is simply a continuation of the price adjustments we made in select countries late last year."
As of now, the prices remain the same on the official Xbox website. But they will come into effect from the first of April. Here are the new prices for the subscriptions plans!
New prices for the monthly gaming plans
The starting price of the Xbox Game Pass will go down to Rs 349 a month, Rs 1049 for three months, and Rs 2099 for six months. The Xbox Live Gold has a starting price of Rs 349 a month, Rs 749 for six months, and Rs 1999 for a year.
The PC Game Pass will start from Rs 349 a month, Rs 1049 for three months, Rs 2099 for six months, and Rs 4199 for a year.
The Game Pass Ultimate will start from Rs 499 a month, Rs 1499 for three months, Rs 2999 for six months, Rs 5999 for a year, and Rs 11,999 for two years.
