Vivo X80 series: Expected specifications and features

The base variant Vivo X80 can feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ pixels resolution. A punch-hole cutout design on the top houses a front camera. Besides these details, the display can also have a standard 120Hz refresh rate, DC-Dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Vivo X80 Pro variant might have a larger screen and support a QHD+ resolution.

The device is expected to come packed with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR4 RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. And leaks hint that the X80 can flaunt a large 4000mm square VC chamber for heat dissipation and X-axis linear motor for enhanced tactile feedback.

In the camera department, the Vivo X80 base variant can flaunt a triple rear camera setup. It can include a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with a 13MP and 12MP sensor. There could be a 44MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. The high-end variant X80 Pro is likely to have a quad rear camera setup which includes a 50MP primary sensor, 48MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP portrait lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.

The rumours mention that the devices could have a massive 4700mAh battery capacity with 80W super-fast charging support. The specs and features of the base Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro are almost similar, but the official details are yet to be out from the Chinese smartphone maker. There's news doing rounds online that the flagship models will launch in China alongside Vivo's first foldable smartphone - Vivo X Fold.
