The web series trend has been on the forefront ever since the pandemic took over the world. When we needed time off from grave news headlines, these became our savior and provided us with much-needed and light-hearted entertainment content. Mismatched Season 2, Netflix


It is a coming-of-age romance drama between two young people who have different perspectives on life. The utterly adorable story of Rishi and Dimple will go through more drama and romance in the upcoming season, and how they figure out their lives with having each other around. The character of Dimple Ahuja is an ambitious tech wizard, and Rishi Singh is a hardcore romantic who believes in the traditional way of dating. So look forward to them finding a way to be in each other’s lives even when they are poles apart.

Little Things Season 4, Netflix 


The love story of Kavya and Dhruv will be back to serve us some relationship goals with their cute dynamic. India’s longest-running show will return for its finale season and show us how the two characters keep their pairing strong despite all the challenges that come their way. Also, it will be amazing to see their relationship transition from one of youthful love to a full-grown commitment.

Special Ops 1.5, Disney+Hotstar


The exciting action thriller web series is making its way back on your screens as a prequel series of Special Ops. The much-awaited spin-off will revolve around the protagonist Himmat Singh and his journey in his younger days as a RAW agent. And it has been named ‘The Himmat Story’. This prequel is the first of many parts of this Special Ops Universe, and there will be other stories about the characters told through it.

Made in Heaven Season 2, Amazon Prime Video


Our relationship with this critically-acclaimed show is made in heaven indeed. The first season was a big hit, with the wedding planner duo Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra stealing the show throughout the season, and keeping their business up and running while dealing with personal issues. Now we hear that the upcoming season will be even more glitzy as it will set the stage for Bollywood stars such as Radhika Apte and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Asur Season 2, Voot Select


The psychological thriller web series proved to be an engaging watch in the first season. And we are finally getting the equally thrilling sequel soon. At the end of the previous season, there was a gang of serial killers on the loose, and this chase will continue to the next as CBI has to get a hold of them soon. While the exact plot details aren't out, there’s plenty to expect from this upcoming story.

Inside Edge Season 3, Amazon Prime Video


The next season of Inside Edge will take off soon, but the release date is yet to be announced. The second season had ended on an exciting note, so there’s a lot to look forward to in the upcoming web series featuring Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha. The storyline is based on the dark side of cricket and raises several issues surrounding politics and match-fixing. But do note, it’s not based on a real-life story.

Delhi Crime Season 2, Netflix 


The must-watch series Delhi Crime is renewed for a second season. The story revolves around the real crime scene, the Delhi gang rape that took place in 2012. The story also covers the follow-up of the crime. It is yet to be seen whether the second season will continue from this crime or have a new one to unfold for us.

Rudra – The Edge of Darkness, Disney+Hotstar 


The Ajay Devgan-starrer web series Rudra is a new entrant that will entertain us soon. It is a crime drama that is based on the famous British series called Luther. The story revolves around an officer from the Serious Crime Unit who tackles the cases and becomes consumed by them to the point of self-destruction.

Finding Anamika, Netflix 


The legendary Madhuri Dixit is back to entertain us, but this time in an OTT space. It is a new thriller drama web series where the celebrity disappears and leaves no clue behind. And the story slowly begins to unfold as the police and her family begin to search for her. This search reveals the dark troubles and issues that haunt her.
