Realme V20 5G makes a debut: Have a look at specs, pricing, and features – Prune

Realme has introduced a new budget smartphone, Realme V20 5G, in its China-only V-series lineup. The smartphone packs impressive features such as MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 5000mAh battery, and 6.5-inch HD+ display.

The smartphone also flaunts other standout features like Dynamic RAM Expansion, which uses free storage as virtual memory. However, the Realme V20 5G will only be available in China and sold through official retail outlets. So, it hasn't been listed on any online platforms.

Realme V20 5G: Specifications and features

The Realme V20 5G features a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a teardrop notch. The sleek HD+ display supports 1600x720 pixel resolution and a front camera sensor. However, there's no fingerprint sensor that has become common in most phones these days.

Under the hood, the new budget phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The key highlight is the Dynamic RAM Expansion feature that uses free storage to enhance the overall performance.

For photography needs, the Realme V20 5G sports a dual-rear camera setup. It includes 13MP primary sensor and a 0.3MP VGA secondary camera. There is a 5MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. And the device comes packed with a massive 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.

It's uncertain whether the smartphone runs on Android 11 or 12 OS. But you can expect other features such as a 3.5mm audio jack on Realme V20 5G. Also, it is 8.1mm thick and weighs approximately 184 grams.

Realme V20 5G: Price and availability

The Chinese smartphone maker will only sell Realme V20 5G in China. And it is only up for purchase from the official retail stores, not through online portals.

The Realme V20 is available in two colours: Ink Cloud Black and Star Blue. And the budget handset is available for purchase with a price tag of CNY 999 (Approx. Rs 11,600).
