Realme C31 launched in India! Check out its price, specs and features: Prune

The Chinese smartphone maker Realme has launched its latest budget model. The Realme C31 flaunts impressive features such as a large 6.5-inch screen, 5000mAh battery, and a triple rear camera setup. While it is not made for heavy tasks, the low price of Rs 8999 makes it a good deal if you're looking for a budget purchase.

To meet the growing demand from our customers and to offer our customers more options in the affordable price range, we are glad to announce the debut of Realme C31 with powerful capabilities. Our newest member in the C series is the most stylish entry-level smartphone & made to fulfil users' expectations who look for numerous features across price segments amongst entry-level smartphones."

Realme C31: Specifications and features

The Realme C31 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 900x1600 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The low refresh doesn't make it an appealing option for tasks like gaming, but it does have a good 120Hz touch sampling rate for a smoother experience overall. It runs on Android 11 with the company's own Realme UI R edition.

The device comes packed with a powerful Unisoc T612 based on the 12nm process, paired with up to 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. And you can upgrade the storage to 1TB using an external microSD card. It features a UFS 2.2 flash storage with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Also, the Realme C31flaunts a massive 5000mAh battery but with only 10W charging support. So it might take around two hours to charge the smartphone.

In the camera department, the handset sports a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 13MP primary sensor (f/2.2 aperture) with a 2MP macro and a B&W lens. There's a 5MP snapper in a punch-hole design on the front for selfies and video calls.

Realme C31: Price and availability

The Realme C31 is available in two storage variants - 3GB RAM/32GB storage for Rs 8999 and 4GB RAM/64GB storage for Rs 9999. The colour options include Dark Green and Light Silver.
