OnePlus Nord 2T: Here's what to expect from the upcoming smartphone! - Prune

Soon after the recent launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE in February, the popular Nord 2 lineup could have a brand new addition soon in the next few months. While there's no official announcement yet, the OnePlus Nord 2T is in the news already for being the Chinese company's next mid-range handset. The upcoming smartphone is in the reports for being a successor of the OnePlus Nord 2, and several design leaks and specs are doing rounds on the internet from credible tipsters.

If you're looking forward to the first reveal of the OnePlus Nord 2T, we've rounded up all the details about it you need to know! From a never-seen-before camera design to a textured black rear panel, read on to know what to expect from the new device ahead of the launch.

First impression of the OnePlus Nord 2T

The OnePlus Nord 2T seems to have an interesting black sandstone rear panel similar to the older OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 models. The edgy sandstone or textured finishing is a plus point because of its anti-slip grip and unique look. But a camera module encased in two circular matte blue areas makes the coarse rear design of the OnePlus Nord 2T stand out from the rest.

The camera model includes a triple camera setup within two circular cutouts. One cutout has a single sensor, while the other has two sensors within it. The setup also includes two LED flashlights next to the sensors.

Specifications and features

While the visual leaks do not reveal much about the front of the smartphone, there are reports that it could have a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate and trim bezels. The handset could also come with MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage under the hood.

The OnePlus Nord T2 triple camera setup can include 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP macro sensor. There can be a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device is likely to run on Android 12 out of the box with Oxygen OS 12 on top and may come packed with a decent 4500mAh battery capacity with 80W fast charging support.

Price and availability

According to the tipsters, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2T is likely to cost more than its predecessor. The OnePlus Nord 2 was launched with a price tag of Rs 27,999, but the new device could be a little under Rs 35,000.

The OnePlus Nord 2T could launch in April or May in India. Stay tuned for more details.
