The Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus, is ruling the market with top-end devices. From the new OnePlus 10 Pro 5G to Nord CE 2 5G, it's leaving no stone unturned to compete with other companies. And now, there are reports that the brand may introduce a foldable smartphone inspired by Oppo Find N, which was launched in December last year.

While the foldable phone technology doesn't come across as a surprise anymore, it was high time that the brand made its version of it. Especially since OnePlus has a huge fan following for its high-quality and affordable smartphones in the Android segment.

And tipsters have revealed that the OnePlus foldable phone will be a rehashed version of the Oppo Find N. But why will the two be similar? The reason behind it is simple. OnePlus and Oppo are sister companies as they share the same owner - BBK Electronics. They are well-known to share resources for their internal operations after the merger.

While there's no other news about the OnePlus foldable smartphone other than the fact that it could launch later in 2022 or by next year, the existing Oppo Find N can give us a glimpse into the upcoming smartphone's specs and features. The only difference could be a minor upgrade if it launches a year later than the older phone. The Oppo Find N flaunts a large 7.1-inch AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 1792 x 1920 pixels resolution and a punch-hole display that houses a selfie camera. The bezel-less screen offers impressive visuals, which the foldable device is well-known for in the market.

The smartphone comes packed with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and Adreno 660 GPU. There's a massive 256GB of non-expandable internal storage for files on the phone.

The Oppo Find N comes with a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP primary camera, 16MP ultra wide-angle camera, and 13MP telephoto camera.
