Bharti Airtel Introduces Unlimited 5G Data Offer for Prepaid and Postpaid Plans

Bharti Airtel, India's leading telecom operator, has announced the launch of an unlimited 5G data offer for prepaid and postpaid plans above Rs. 239. This move comes as part of Airtel's plan to stay ahead in India's highly competitive telecom industry.

Under this offer, Airtel customers will be able to enjoy unlimited 5G data with no caps on usage or speed. The offer is available for both pre-paid and postpaid customers, and they can claim it by upgrading to a 5G SIM card and selecting one of Airtel's 5G plans. The offer is currently available in select circles across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Airtel plans to expand the offer to other circles soon.

Commenting on the launch, Shashwat Sharma, director (consumer business) at Bharti Airtel, said, "This introductory offer is in line with the philosophy of wanting our customers to be able to surf, stream, chat and enjoy multiple benefits at blazing speeds without having to worry about data limits." With 5G, customers can experience faster download and upload speeds, lower latency, and greater network reliability.

The telecom giant has been investing heavily in 5G infrastructure to ensure a seamless rollout of the new technology across India. Airtel has already launched 5G trials in several cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad, and plans to expand to more cities in the coming months.

With the launch of this unlimited 5G data offer, Airtel aims to attract more customers and increase its market share in India's highly competitive telecom industry. This move has stepped up the battle of Airtel versus Reliance Jio. Reliance Jio recently launched two new affordable Jio Plus family plans by Reliance Jio.
