This museum exhibits large numbers of weapons, souvenirs and amenities mostly seized from the Pakistani soldiers. The museum also showcased a region of the Siachen area, exhibiting the apparel and amenities used by the Indian armies.

Guru Dwara Pathar Sahib is a beautiful Gurudwara built in the memory of Guru Nanak. It was built in 1517 after the visit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in his return from the summer hills. This place is famous for the rock which has the shape of a man in it. This rock is believed to be thrown at Guru Nanak by the demon who tried to kill him during his meditation.

 

Lamayuru Monastery


 

The Lamayuru Monastery is a famous Tibetan monastery in the shape of a moonlike landscape carved into the greater Himalayas. The prayer rocks are an important part of the Buddhist culture. They are meticulously carved with beautiful Tibetan scripts. These stones are a piece of art, some of them are centuries old.

 

Donkey Sanctuary


 

The Donkey Sanctuary was founded by a South African traveler. It is home for the old and sick donkeys who are left by their owners in the strays to starve and die. The sanctuary is a large piece of land where all these donkeys get to hang out and idle their day away. It is a home away from home for the donkeys as they get to eat and sleep in peace inside this sanctuary.

 

Suru Valley


 

The Suru Valley is located in the far west of Ladakh at an elevation of 3000 meters above sea level.
