Oppo launches a special New year edition smartphone! Here’s a look: Prune
As the year is coming to an end, we have seen the release of top smartphones in 2021. From the iPhone 13 series and the OnePlus 9 Pro to Realme GT 5G and Samsung Galaxy S21, there have been exciting launches this year. But it looks like we have more to look forward to for the New Year already. The tech giant Oppo has launched a special New Year edition smartphone Oppo Reno 7 5G in eye-catching Velvet Red colour that simply looks stunning.
And besides the exclusive colour, the smartphone also sports a special tiger logo at the back. The company has used colour and details to celebrate the New Year, also known as the Year of the Tiger in China. However, we are yet to ascertain whether we will see the new handset release in the global markets. As of now, it has only launched in China ahead of the New Year celebrations. And it is winning hearts with its look and design.
The Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition has specifications similar to its existing base version. The mid-range handset starts from the price of around Rs 31,800 (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) and goes up till around Rs 38,900 (128GB RAM + 256GB storage) depending on the variant. It features a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. And it comes equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor.
When it comes to the camera department, it houses a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel lens for macro shots. For selfie and video calls, it has a 32-megapixel lens on the front.
A user of the Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year edition will also get to enjoy 60W super-fast charging with a 4,500mAh battery. And its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. If you’re excited about this smartphone as we are, keep your hopes up!
