Catch the top highlights from the Apple event: Prune
The much-awaited Apple event of 2021 finally took place on September 14. The special virtual event was live-streamed from California on Apple’s YouTube channel and website. In the 75-minute event, the CEO Tim Cook and his team made a big announcement about the upcoming Apple devices. They introduced us to a new lineup of top-notch gadgets which includes the iPhone 13 series, two new iPads, and an Apple watch.
After months of rumors and speculations about the launch, the tech giant has finally unveiled its standard but upgraded devices. However, there was some disappointment in store for the Apple users as no new AirPods were introduced at the event. There was a lot of speculation over the months around the new earbuds, but they turned out to be a no-show.
But aside from this, there was a lot of excitement around the sleek new gadgets. If you have missed out on the launch, let’s dig deeper into the event highlights that Prune has put together just for you.
The iPhone 13 series
The most important highlight of the Apple event was the iPhone 13 series launch. It is for the first time that Apple is launching 1TB worth of storage in its swanky gadgets iPhone Pro and Pro Max. So you can enjoy double the storage in its most expensive iPhone so far.
These 5G-compatible devices are powered by the Apple A15 Bionic chip, and Apple claims that this new processor will be the fastest chip in a smartphone. It will enable the phones to have many exciting features as well. And if it is true, it will put the company way ahead of its competitors in the smartphone segment. And it is the first series of smartphones that will support dual eSIMS for the first time ever.
The models will also have more focus on their display. The camera in the older models used to take up more space but this time, the display has been given more attention. It has an upgraded Super Retina XDR OLED display to provide optimum performance and 800 nits that offer improved vivid brightness even in outdoor lighting.
But the camera upgrades are most talked about. The cinematic video mode is an amazing feature that will let you try out the film techniques like a pro. This feature will make any ordinary moment look like a film, as it automatically focuses sharply on the subject while the background blurs out beautifully. You can even manually control the focus points and have fun being creative with bokeh while making your videos. But it’s yet to be seen how cinematic we can get with the shooting once the new devices land in the market.

Also, you can expect the new Apple watch to have two unique watch faces – Contour and Modular Duo, along with an overall improved display. There are claims that the device will also have an 18-hour battery life that will last all day long with a super-fast charging system.
